Epoligositina Livingstone &amp; Yacoob, 1983 in Lin, 1990: 47–49 (As a subgenus)</p><p>Pinto &amp; Viggiani, 2004: 279 (renewed status as subgenus).</p><p>Diagnosis:</p><p>Female. Antenna with club 1–3 segmented, distinct funicle segment present or absent. Mid lobe of mesoscutum and scutellum each with one pair of setae; propodeum subtriangular. Forewings with a bare disc and narrowly rounded apex; marginal fringe usually longer than FWW, marginal vein long and straight and longer than premarginal and submarginal vein; postmarginal vein absent.</p><p>Male. Genitalia tubular, without digiti and claspers.</p><p>Comments. The genus Epoligosita Girault is very close to Oligosita Haliday, but differs by having forewings apically narrow, with disc bare; club 1–3 (C1–C3) segmented and funicle segment either present or absent, if present, single segmented. Epoligosita breviclavata sp. nov.</p><p>urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act: CA35216A-AAB6-40EA-B4FB-BC3968055251</p><p>(Figs. 1A–E)</p><p>Description: Female. Length, 0.40 mm. Head with front vertex and MS pale brown except mouth region honey yellow; eye and ocelli blackish. Mandibles with tips brown. Antennal segments pale yellow except apical part of club, which is brown. Mesosoma pale yellow; metasoma brown-infuscated with a pale-brown ovipositor. Forewings broad and hyaline.</p><p>Head. (Fig. 1B) 1.4× wider than long as broad as high (156: 112); eyes length 2× of MS (69: 34). Antenna (Fig.1A) with club 2-segmented having short, pointed bristles, 2.7× as long as broad (78:29), apical segment long; funicle 1.33× longer than wide (20:15); pedicel slightly more than 2× as long as wide (40: 18); scape long about 3.5× as long as wide (45: 13).</p><p>Mesosoma. (Fig. 1E) Mid lobe of mesoscutum about 1.45× broader than long; scutellum 2× as broad as long; pronotum sub-triangular, 9× as long as dorsellum. Forewings (Fig. 1C) hyaline, 2.9× as long as broad (324: 112); marginal fringe about as long as FWW (117: 112), STV 3.8× shorter than SMV (16: 61), MV 1.2× longer than SMV (79: 61).</p><p>Metasoma: Gaster longer than mesosoma; ovipositor (Fig. 1D) concealed, originating from the second gastral segment, and measuring 1.5× the length of the hind tibia (182:119).</p><p>Male. Unknown.</p><p>Host. Unknown.</p><p>Types examined: Holotype, 1♀ (on slide): INDIA: Haryana, Sonipat, Rohat, 06.xii.2016, M. Ikram; by sweeping (Acc. No. NFIC-22131) . Paratype: 1♀ (on slide), same data as for holotype .</p><p>Distribution: INDIA: Haryana (Sonipat).</p><p>Etymology: The species name is derived from the Latin word brevis, meaning “short,” in reference to its short clava.</p><p>Comments: Epoligosita breviclavata sp. nov. is very similar to Epoligosita clara Hayat &amp; Viggiani (1981) but can be distinguished by the antennae having the club about 4× as long as the funicle; funicle 1.33× as long as broad; pedicel more than 2× as long as wide. Forewings hyaline, with the marginal fringe about as long as the FWW. In Epoligosita clara, the antennae have the club about 5.5× as long as the funicle; funicle quadrate, as long as broad; pedicel slightly less than 2× as long as wide. Head with front vertex and MS pale yellow except mouth region pale brown; eyes and ocelli dark. Mandibles with tips golden yellow.Antennal segments pale yellow except apical part of club brown. Mesosoma pale yellow; metasoma brown-infuscated with a pale-brown ovipositor. Forewings hyaline, with the basal one-third infuscated.</p><p>Head. (Fig.2B) about 1.2× wider than long as broad as high (159: 130); eye length 2× of MS. Antennae with club 2-segmented having pointed bristles, 4.6× as long as broad (84: 18); funicle 1.33× longer than wide (20:15); pedicel 2× as long as wide (40: 20); scape long about 4.5× as long as wide(46: 10).</p><p>Mesosoma (Fig. 2D): Mid lobe of mesoscutum about 1.2× broader than long; scutellum 2× as boad as long; pronotum sub-triangular, 3× as long as dorsellum. Forewings (Fig. 2C) hyaline except basal one-third infuscated, 3.84× as long as broad (369: 96), marginal fringe about 1.5× of wing width (147: 96), STV 5.2× shorter than SMV (15: 79), MV longer than SMV (93: 79).</p><p>Metasoma: Gaster longer than mesosoma; ovipositor hidden, arising from the base of gaster, ovipositor about 1.4× as long as hind tibia (188: 136) (Fig. 2E &amp; F).</p><p>Male. Unknown.</p><p>Specimens examined. Holotype, 1♀ (on slide), INDIA: UTTARAKHAND: Rudraprayag, Khankra, 08.iii.2018, M. Ikram; Sweeping (Acc. No. NFIC-22130).</p><p>Distribution: INDIA: Uttarakhand (Rudraprayag).</p><p>Etymology: The species name is derived from the Latin word ‘lata’, meaning “broad,” in reference to its broad wings.</p><p>Comments: Epoligosita latipennis sp. nov. is very similar to Epoligosita keralaensis Begum &amp; Anis (2015) but can be distinguished by the head with OOL 5× as long as POL; eyes 2× the MS; eyes 0.54× as long as the height of the head. Antennae with funicle 1.33× longer than wide; pedicel 2× as long as wide; scape long, about 4.5× as long as wide. Forewings with the basal one-third infuscated, less than 4× as long as wide; marginal fringe 1.5× as long as the FWW.</p><p>In Epoligosita keralaensis, the head has OOL equal to POL; eyes more than 2× the MS; eyes 0.68× as long as the height of the head. Antennae with funicle about 2× longer than wide; pedicel more than 2× as long as wide; scape about 3× as long as wide.
