Gonocoxite oblong, similar to that of Cx. neglectus but with group of small setae on subapical lobe; 2 sinuous setae inserted dorsoventrally; 1 leaf-like seta apically isolated. Columnar process medium-sized, robust; apex with 2 straight, apically curved setae (a and b), inserted at same level; seta a smaller than seta b; external margin with 2 long, pointed setae; ventromesal surface with 3 simple setae. Gonostylus narrow, elongate, discrete with convex outline at basal level; broad, leaf-like gonostylar claw with pointed apex. Aedeagus with beak-like ventral process, dorsolateral process pointed. Aedeagal sclerite pointed at apical process; narrow, smooth, hook-like outline. Tergum X somewhat triangular; inner process evident; basal plate wide; paraproct dilated basally, robust; crown with 5 medium-sized, curved, rounded blades.	en	Oliveira-Christe, Rafael, Marrelli, Mauro Toledo (2025): Descriptions of the male genitalia of species of Culex (Microculex) (Diptera: Culicidae) from the Atlantic Forest, Brazil, and a dichotomous identification key for those species.
