Hind tibia with very stout and short AD setae 17 – 18, PD setae dense and long; AV setae 16 – 17, stout and long. Hind femur with 2 + 1 apical setae. Hind basitarsus with 2 platellae. Male pygofer ventral margin with inner process; anal collar process developed; often with well-developed dorsal apodemes. Subgenital plate with hairlike setae on dorsal and ventral margins. Connective trilobed anteriorly, constricted near midlength, anterolateral arms each with two lobes, posterior end bilobed. Style curved dorsally, subapical area broad, ventral margin serrate; with or without short setae on dorsal and ventral margin. Rostrum slender. Face with few short setae under eyes. Forewing with crossvein m-cu 1 present. Other characters as in generic description. Male pygofer dorsal margin with transverse apodeme; ventral margin concave subapically, with inner process, not reaching caudal margin, apex of anal collar broad with short lobe in middle (Fig. 2 A). Subgenital plate as long as pygofer, with several fine setae on dorsal margin, and few fine setae on ventral margin. Connective with membranous margins.
