Head round, slightly shorter and narrower than pronotum. Frontal rostrum as wide as antennal scape. Three ocelli in triangular, median ocellus larger than lateral ocelli (Fig. 3B). The 5th segment of maxillary palpus strongly thickened, the 3rd segment as long as the 5th, and the 4th segment shorter than them both.

Thorax. Pronotum pubescent. Pronotal disc same length as wide, anterior margin straight, posterior margin sinuous and wider than anterior margin (Fig. 3A). Rounded angle between disc and lateral lobes. Metanotal gland simple as in (Fig. 3D).

Legs. Outer tympanum open and oval (Fig. 3E). Inner tympanum little narrower than the outer one (Fig. 3F). Hind tibia with five pairs of dorsal spurs, with small spines between them (Fig. 3G). Three pairs of apical spurs, with outer ones shorter and inner ones longer. Of three inner ones, superior apical spur longest, of three outer ones, median apical spur longest. The 1st segment of tarsus as long as the 2nd and 3rd combined. A pair of apical spurs at the end of the 3rd tarsal segment, both spurs as long as inner superior apical spur.

Wings (Fig. 1A). Forewing developed, beyond terminal of abdomen. The mirror longer than wide, angular in front, rounded behind, with one dividing vein slightly above the middle. Harp with straight d2 and six oblique veins, including two long ones together near the diagonal, four short ones in the anal angle. Apical field reticulated, nearly one-third of the total forewing length. Chord1 divided by the pi. Sc with 11 veins reaching the anterior margin of forewing. R and M+CuA temporarily fused before the origin of the lc (Fig. 3H). CuPa forking into CuPaβ and CuPaα at half of the forewing length. Lanceolate cell long and narrow. Hindwing slightly longer than the forewing.

Abdomen. Cercus thin and elongate. Male anal plate simple with two clusters of hairs on two sides (Fig. 3C). Genital plate obviously longer than anal plate.

Genitalia (Fig. 4). Epiphallus as in H shape, a pair of posterior lobes long and flat, with apex sharp and up curved. Ectoparameres with three pairs of posterior lobs, two lower pairs short, one upper pair thin and long, as long as epiphallic lobes, apex sharp and down curved. Guiding rod short and not fully sclerotized. Endoparameral apodeme long with wide apex, ramus also long with wide apex.

Female (Figs. 1B, 5). Similar to male (Figs. 1A, 2). Forewing without stridulatory veins, crossveins reticulated; area between the R and the M+CuA with brown spots. Genital plate with deeper apical notch (Fig. 5C). Ovipositor long with teeth on the ventral side of apical part (Fig. 5D, E).

Coloration.

Male. Body black brown. Small sparse light spots on antennal flagellum. Head and pronotum disc with irregular black stripes. Pronotal lateral lobe and six legs with small black spots. Male forewing generally brown; the posterior harp angle lightish; area between the base of PCuA, PCuP and AA, and the area between R and M+CuA with lightish crossveins; the posterior margin lightish at apical half. Cercus in brown and white. Female forewing generally brown, with lightish crossveins between lateral field and dorsal field. Nymph similar to adult in color, but anal plate in white.

Measurements (mm).

♂ (ECNU-2068):

SZ: 27.36; BL: 28.62; PL: 3.32; FWL: 19.10; HWL: 20.97; HFL: 12.52.

♀ (ECNU-2067):

SZ: 33.02; BL: 20.48; PL: 3.60; FWL: 22.10; HWL: 26.44; HFL: 14.00; OL: 14.05.

Distribution.
