All mutillids were reared from six species of flies, which belong to the families Syrphidae, Tephritidae, Glossinidae, Rhinophoridae, and Tachinidae (all are from suborder Cyclorrhapha). In spite of their importance, only a few mutillids currently are known as a parasitoids of Diptera, but in future this number is expected to increase.

https://treatment.plazi.org/id/566E87EAF90F6C47E29E828FFD64FD23	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply.
