Body appears to be differentiated into two parts. Anterior end of trophozoite is rounded and lobe­like that gradually tapers to a short deeply stained endosarc. The trophozoite’s endosarc consists of fine granular inclusions. Body wall thick. Posterior end of trophozoite contains a short tail­like structure. Nucleus with little chromatin. In almost 10 % of the matured trophozoites, the nucleus was slightly ovoidal. Gametocyst with two unequal gametes. Oocysts navicular.
