Labrum (Fig. 1 c) longer than wide, not extending beyond hypostoma, with three pairs of anterolateral sensilla styloconica; palatum (Fig. 1 d) with two pairs of closely spaced sensilla, one trichoidea, one campaniform sensillum; messors (Figs 1 d, 2 a) small, gently sclerotized, curved structures, situated away from mandibles, without scopae; palatal bar present (Fig. 1 d), triangular, situated immediately posterior to messors. Hypostoma (Fig. 1 c-f) finely toothed, with 6 or 7 stout lateral teeth.
