Loxycorys [sic]; Matsui et al. 2023: 91.</p><p>Redescription</p><p>Habitus. Head: Vertex with erect scales; frons slightly inflated; labial palpus (Figure 1a,b) long, with 3rd segment upturned obliquely; maxillary palpus long and upturned obliquely; proboscis fully developed. Abdomen (Figure 1c): Praecinctorium well developed and clearly bilobed; venulae secundae absent; male abdominal segment VIII without a distinctly-sclerotised pattern. Male genitalia (Figure 2c–g) – Uncus subconical, long-setose, broadly attached to tegumen; tegumen arched laterally. Gnathos present or absent. Vinculum broad, strongly sclerotised, with tapering saccus. Sacculus of valva strongly sclerotised, curved dorsoanteriorly, with a process on dorsal margin; base of valva bulged. (Figure 2b) Head: Vertex white, intermixed with pale brown scales laterally; frons pale yellowish brown, intermixed with brownish-grey scales near vertex. Labial palpus brownish grey laterally, brownish white mesally; 1st segment 1/4 as long as 2nd; 3rd segment as long as 1st. Antenna 1/2 as long as forewing; scape brownish grey; flagellum lustrous, pale-brownish grey. Thorax: Patagium brownish white; tegula and mesonotum white, intermixed with brownish white on anterior half. Foreleg with coxa white; femur brownish grey dorsally, white ventrally; tibia brownish grey; tarsomeres pale brownish grey. Mid- and hindleg with coxa, femur and tibia lustrous, white; tarsomeres pale brownish grey. Forewing length 7.4–10 mm, pale brownish grey, with narrowly rounded apex; costa with pale yellowish-grey postmedian spot; discal spot small, orbicular, with obscure borders and darkened surrounding areas; postmedian line pale yellowish grey, tinged with brownish grey on overpassing veins, curved at anterior 1/3, with obscure borders; cilia brownish grey. Hindwing brownish grey, paler to base; postmedian line pale yellowish grey, narrow, with obscure borders; cilia brownish grey, intermixed with white scales on tornus. Abdomen: Terga brownish grey; sterna brownish white. Male genitalia (Figure 2e–g): Uncus subtriangular, with lateral lobes, with long hairs that are denser on apex. Tegumen wide-trapezoidal; gnathal arms narrow, digitate, spinulate on distal half; subscaphium present. Valva gradually narrowed distad, with digitate apex, setose on ventral and apical margins; sacculus very broad, with ventral lobe folded in pouch, setose; harpe lobate in ear-shape, with a bulge and two teeth on distal margin. Juxta crescentiform. Vinculum subrectangular; saccus narrow, triangular, with narrowly rounded apex. Phallus (Figure 2f) gradually narrowed distad, nearly straight; cornuti (Figure 2g) as a bundle of 4–5 curved spines.</p><p>Types</p><p>Holotype: male, ̍ KOREA, Jeonnam Prov. | Sinan-gun, Is. (Figure 2a) Head: Vertex pale greyish orange; frons white, tinged with dark brownish grey laterally. Labial palpus with 1st and 2nd segments dark brownish grey laterally, white mesally; 1st segment 1/5 as long as 2nd; 3rd segment 2/5 as long as 2nd, dark brownish grey, paler apically. Antenna 1/2 as long as forewing; scape pale orange; flagellum lustrous, pale greyish orange. Thorax: Patagium, tegula and mesonotum pale brownish grey, forewing length 7.9–11 mm, dark brownish grey; costal patch yellowish orange on basal 3/5, interrupted by dark brownish-grey postmedian bar; discal spot quadrate, white, juxtaposed with dark brown wedge-form bar; postmedian line narrow, dark brown, juxtaposed with pale brownish-grey line, slightly curved; cilia pale brownish grey. Hindwing dark brownish grey; subbasal line incomplete on anal area, narrow, dark brown, juxtaposed with pale brownish-grey line; median line narrow, dark brown, juxtaposed with pale brownish-grey line, angulate medially. Male genitalia: (Figure 2c–d) Uncus subconical, with a pair of hairy humps laterally. Tegumen subquadrate. Valva triangular, pointed apically; sacculus covering most area of valva, triangularly protruding apically, setose; costal process narrow, digitate, setose; harpe digitate, curved, broadened basally, long-setose; saccus elongate, round apically, as long as costal process. Phallus (Figure 2d) slightly curved medially, broadened distally and at coecum; dorsal carina digitate, with a dentiform spine at distal 1/3; cornutal zone spinulate, as long as coecum.</p><p>Material examined</p><p>1J, Korea: Jeonnam Prov., Sinan-gun, Is .
