            <p>Material studied. Holotype male, BRAZIL, Paraná, Boa Vista da Aparecida, UHE Salto Caxias, 25°32’35.68”S, 53°29’48.04”W, 24.viii.2005, light trap, leg.: Soares (MZUSP). Paratype: 1 male, with the same data as holotype (MZUSP).</p>
            <p>Etymology. The species is named after Angelo B. M. Machado on the occasion of his 80th birthday.</p>
            <p> Diagnosis.  Oukuriella angelomachadoi sp. nov. differs from other species of the genus by the following characteristics: male, wings with light dark markings, thorax without scutal tubercle, absence of bands on tergite, posterior margin of tergite IX with rounded lateral projections, concavity width between these projections two times greater than its depth, superior volsella pediform with large digitus, inferior volsella with simple setae.  Oukuriella angelomachadoi sp. nov. closely resembles  Oukuriella rimamplusa Fusari et al. 2013 , from which it can be distinguished by the shape of the superior volsella and markings on wings. </p>
            <p>Description.</p>
            <p>Male (n = 1–2). Total length 2.13–3.05 mm. Wing length 1.48–2.11 mm, width 0.48–0.62 mm. Total length/ wing length 1.43–1.44. Wing length/profemur length ratio 1.78–1.85.</p>
            <p>Color. Thorax light brown. Wings with light dark markings, veins light brown. Legs light brown with dark brown areas.</p>
            <p>Head (Fig. 1 A). AR 1.06. Apical flagellomere 458 µm long. Temporals 8. Clypeus with 23–46 setae. Lengths of palpomeres 1–5 (in Μm): 26–41; 30–38; 82; 72; 134.</p>
            <p>Thorax (Fig. 1 B). Without scutal tubercle. Ac 3–5. Dc 7–8. Pa 1. Scts 3–4.</p>
            <p>Wing (Fig. 1 D). VR 1.20–1.30. Brachiolum with 3 setae. R with 5–9, R1 with 3–8, R4+5 with 9–10 setae, remaining veins and cell membranes bare.</p>
            <p>Legs (Fig. 1 E). Lengths (in Μm) and proportions of leg segments as in Table 1. Tibial spur lengths (in Μm): foreleg 32, middleg 29–43, hindleg 44–68.</p>
            <p>Abdomen (Fig. 1 C). Tergites II–VII with a large tuft of setae in the anterior median region.</p>
            <p>Hypopygium (Figs 1 F, 2A–B). Laterosternite IX with 3–4 setae. Absence of bands on tergite. Posterior margin of tergite IX with lateral rounded projections. Concavity width between these projections two times greater than its depth. Phallapodeme not observable, transverse sternapodeme 46–51 µm. Superior volsella pediform 77–121 µm long, with 24 setae near bend of upper arm. Digitus wide, the same width as superior volsella, not reaching the apex of the superior volsella, without microtrichia. Inferior volsella 125–140 µm long with 3–6 basal setae, 7–8 apical setae. Gonocoxite 128–131 µm long. Gonostylus long 126–146 µm long. HR 0.89–1.01. HV 1.69–2.08.</p>
            <p>Female and immatures. Unknown.</p>
            <p>Distribution. This species is recorded only in the type locality in the State of Paraná, Brazil.</p>

            <p>Type material. Holotype male, BRAZIL, São Paulo, Salesópolis, Estação Biológica de Boracéia, 23°31’55”S, 45°50’45”W, 13.x.2001, light trap, leg.: Froehlich, C.G. (MZUSP).</p>
            <p>Etymology. From Latin pluma: feather, teres: soft, delicate and ata: carrier, referring to the delicate setae present on tergite IX.</p>
            <p> Diagnosis.  Oukuriella plumaterata sp. nov. differs from other species of the genus by the following characteristics: male, wings with dark markings, thorax without scutal tubercle, abdomen with dark areas, tergites II–VII with tufts of setae, present of bands on tergite, legs with dark areas, posterior margin of tergite IX without lateral projections, width of the concavity in the midline of the posterior margin of tergite IX similar to the length of its depth, ventral region with tufts of setae in projections that exceed the posterior margin of tergite IX, superior volsella falciform with digitus same shape and size, superposing, inferior volsella with simple setae.  O. plumaterata sp. nov. resembles  O. froehlichi Fusari et al. 2014 , from which it can be distinguished by tufts of setae in projections in the ventral region that exceed the posterior margin of tergite IX. </p>
            <p>Description.</p>

            <p>Material studied. 1 male with associated pupal and larval exuviae, BRAZIL, São Paulo, Campos do Jordão, Parque Estadual de Campos do Jordão, 22º41’40”S, 45º27’36”W, manual collection, submerged wood, leg.: Valente Neto, F. (MZUSP)</p>
            <p>Description pupa.</p>
            <p>Pupa exuviae (n = 1). Total lenght 4.95 mm. Exuviae light brown.</p>
            <p>Cephalothorax. Frontal apotome smooth (Fig. 5 A), frontal setae with 53 Μm long. Thoracic horn formed by a filament coming directly from the basal ring: this filament is subdivided into 2 strands with small spines. Basal ring elliptical (Fig. 5 C) with 27 Μm diameter. Thorax with median suture with granulations (Fig. 5 A). Antepronotals setae unobservable. Two setae precorneals. Four dorsocentrals: Dc1 with 25 Μm long, Dc2 with 10 Μm, Dc3 unobservable, Dc4 with 10 Μm. Dc 1 in front of Dc2 by a distance of 30 Μm, Dc2 a 169 Μm in front of Dc3 and Dc3 a 11 Μm in front of Dc4.</p>
            <p>Abdomen (Figs 5 D–E). Tergite I bare; shagreen the other tergites as the generic diagnosis. Conjunctive IV/V with rows of spinules. Row of hooks on tergite II with 316 Μm long. Pedes spurii B present in TII. Anal spur with 93 Μm long, formed by 1 main spur and 9 spinules (Fig. 5 D). Lateral setae in the segments II–VIII, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4; lateral setae in the segments V–VIII taeniate, others with single setae. All tergites with a pair of oral seta. Anal lobe with complete fringe, with 34 setae (Fig. 5 E). Male genital sac not extending beyond anal lobe.</p>
            <p>Description larva.</p>
            <p>Larval exuviae (n = 1).</p>
            <p>Head. Labral sclerites 1–5 fused. Dorsal surface of sclerites 1 and 2 granulose, and sclerites 3–5 striate/rugose (Fig. 6 A). Pecten epipharyngis unobservable. Premandible distally bifid, with 119 µm long. Antenna 137 µm long, with 6 segments (Fig. 6 B), 63, 19, 16, 18, 11, 5 µm long; AR = 0.91, antennal blade smaller than flagellum, with 63 µm long. Lauterborn organs alternately located at the apices of segments 2 and 3. Mandible with 159 µm long, with dark apex and 3 inner teeth, dorsal tooth present, internal setae present, and subdentalis setae short (Fig. 6 C). Mentum with 146 µm wide, median tooth simple, short and pale, and five pairs of lateral teeth dark (Fig. 6 D). First lateral tooth much larger relative to the median, second to fourth laterals of same height, fifth lateral tooth truncated, lateral teeth dark. Ventromental plates 100 Μm wide, medially separated by distance between the first two lateral teeth. Two setae submenti with 58 and 53 µm long.</p>
            <p>Female. Unknown.</p>
            <p>Distribution. This species was previously recorded from the State of Amazonas, Brazil; in the present study the range is extended to include the State of São Paulo, Brazil.</p>
            <p>Comments. The submerged wood was collected in first-order streams protected by riparian vegetation and characterized by rocky beds and clear water in the Atlantic Forest. In the laboratory, the wood was fragmented and the larvae found inside were reared individually in separate containers.</p>
