Mesosoma: (Fig. 4) Midlobe of mesoscutum about as long as wide (87: 84), Midlobe of scutellum 1.5X as long as wide, dorsellum as long as propodeum. Fore wings (Fig. 3), hyaline, about 2.5X as long as broad (464: 188), disc densely setose up to venation, covering half of the wing length, marginal fringe long about one-fourth of the wing width. STV rudimentary.

Type examined: Holotype, 1♀ (on slide), INDIA: Haryana, Mahendragarh , 14.vii.2018, M. Ikram, by sweeping. (Acc. No. NFIC-22156) Paratype, 1♀ (on slide), same data as holotype .

Host: Unknown.

Distribution: INDIA: Haryana.

Etymology: The name of the species is derived from the distinctly short club (brevi in Latin meaning ‘short’).

Comments: Tumidiclava breviclavata sp. nov. is very close to Tumidiclava tenkasiensis Yousuf & Shafee but can be separated by having antennae with scape more than 3X as long as wide; pedicel more than 1.5X as long as wide; club less than 2X as long as wide. Fore wings, 2.5X as long as broad. [In Tumidiclava tenkasiensis , antennae with scape slightly less than 3X as long as wide; pedicel 1.5X as long as wide; club more than 2X as long as wide.
