Coloration: headreddish brown, pronotumandelytrareddish, withtheposteriorareaslightlylighter; abdomen blackishbrownwiththenarrowposteriormarginsofthetergitesandtheapexsomewhat paler, legsandantennaereddish. Headtransverse, 1.22 timesaswideaslong (Figs 1 – 2); dorsalsurfaceconvex, with verydense, averagesize, granulosebutrathershallowpunctures; intersticesreducedto narrowridges; pubescenceshortandreddishyellow. Eyesrelativelysmall, indorsalview distinctlyshorterthanpostocularregion. Antennaemoderatelyslender, 1.1 mmlong, an- tennomereIIIapproximately 2.2 timesaslongaswide; antennomeresV – Xoblong (Fig. 1). Pronotumtransverse, approximately 1.20 timesaswideaslong (Figs 1 – 2); slightly widerthanhead; widestatanteriorangles, narrowedposteriorly; anteriorandposterior angleseachwithalongsetaeoflittlemorethanhalfthelengthofthelateralmarginofthe pronotum; posteriormarginconvex; dorsalsurfacewithpronouncedimpressions; microsculpturebarelynoticeable; punctationsimilartothatofhead, butdenser, notgranulose, surfacesomewhatmoreshinythanthatofhead; pubescenceofsimilarlengthasthatof head, butlessfineandmoreconspicuous. Elytradistinctlytransverseandshort (Figs 1 – 2), about 1.70 timesaswideaslong andapproximately 0.70 timesaslongaspronotum; microsculptureabsent; punctation denseanddistinctlygranulose, intersticesonaverageapproximatelyaswideasdiameter ofpunctures; pubescencereddishyellow, moredistinctthanthatofheadandpronotum; posteriormarginofeachelytronwith 5 – 6 longblacksetae. Hindwingstotallyreduced. Abdomenapproximatelyaswideascombinedwidthofelytra (Fig. 1), widestatsegmentV, segmentsIII – VItransverse, tergitesIII – Vslightlymorethantwiceaswideaslong; punctationverydenseandveryfine; intersticeswithdistinctfinemicrosculpture; pubescencebrown; posteriormarginoftergiteVIIwithpalisadefringe. m – sterniteVIIinposteriormedianareaslightlydepressedandwithsomemodified darkandshortsetae, posteriormarginweaklyconcave (Fig. 3); sterniteVIIIdeeplyand acutelyincisedposteriorly, pubescenceunmodified (Fig. 4); aedeagusapproximately 0.65 mmlongandasinFigures 5 – 6. Comparativenotes – Thespeciesisdistinguishedfromallitsconsubgeners by the male sexual characters, especially by the ventral process of the aedeagus, whichisofdifferentshape, particularlyinlateralview. Inaddition, thenewspeciesdiffersfromallspeciesinthewesternAnatoliabyadifferent coloration (seekeytotheTurkish Eurysunius speciesbelow). Distributionandbionomics – Thenewspecieswascollectedfromthe Alacadağ, insouthwestofAntalyaprovince, ingrasslandataltitudesof 1620 and 1810 m.
