Anyphaena xiushanensis Song &amp; Zhu, 1991 from China Diagnosis. The new genus can be easily distinguished from Anyphaena Sundevall, 1833 and Sinophaena Lin &amp; Li, 2021 by the following characters: male palp with a cymbial apophysis; epigyne triangular, longer than wide, and copulatory duct almost straight.</p> <p>Description. Medium-sized. Body length 5.08–6.82. Carapace oval, covered with white setae. Male palp basal apophysis well developed; ventral tibial apophysis long, retrolateral tibial apophysis terminus bifurcated. cymbial apophysis triangular. Median apophysis irregular polygon shaped. Conductor arc shaped distally and cone shaped mesally. Embolus filamentous. Epigyne longer than wide, triangular; copulatory opening inconspicuous; copulatory duct almost straight. Accessory gland at middle of copulatory duct. Spermatheca inconspicuous, oval.</p> <p>Distribution. China (Hainan, Sichuan, Hubei).</p> <p>Etymology. The specific name is an arbitrary combination of letters; masculine in gender.</p> <p>Species included. (Figs 2, 5A–B)</p> <p>Diagnosis. This new species can be distinguished from other Ordgarius species by the long horns on the middle of the carapace and the ratio of the length of the hood to the length of the scape is almost 1: 8.</p> <p>Description. Female (holotype, Figs 5A–B). Total length 7.60. Carapace 3.73 long, 3.39 wide. Abdomen 4.29 long, 8.02 wide. Carapace pear shaped, dark brown, with pale setae and black spots, middle with 6 horns arranged in 3 rows of 1, 1, 4. Chelicerae dark brown, with 4 promarginal teeth, 6 denticles at middle and 5 retromarginal teeth. Endites and labium pale yellow, almost square. Labium triangular. Sternum white. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.12, ALE 0.11, PME 0.19, PLE 0.13, AME–AME 0.24, PME–PME 0.32, PME–PLE 1.00. Legs white with brown pattern. Leg measurements: I 12.85 (3.16, 4.97, 3.89, 0.83), II 13.02 (3.43, 4.89, 3.87, 0.83), III 6.28 (2.00, 2.35, 1.37, 0.56), IV 7.94 (2.61, 3.07, 1.70, 0.56). Abdomen triangular, yellow brown to yellow, with white setae. Spinnerets dark brown.</p> <p>Epigyne (Fig. 2) about 1.5 times wider than long with rimmed scape and hood; copulatory opening concave, located posteriorly, close to base of scape; copulatory duct short and robust; spermathecae large, about 3 times longer than copulatory duct, oval, touching each other.</p> <p>Male. (Figs 3, 5C–D)</p> <p>Diagnosis. The new species resembles O. sexspinosus (Thorell, 1894) but can be distinguished from it by the straight anterior edge of the scape (vs. curved in O. sexspinosus), the width of the hood is much wider than the length (vs. the length much longer than the width in O. sexspinosus) and the abdomen with a pair of yellow humps dorsally.</p> <p>Description. Female (holotype, Figs 5C–D). Total length 8.88. Carapace 2.61 long, 2.62 wide. Abdomen 6.02 long, 6.46 wide. Carapace pear shaped, brown, with pale setae and black pattern, middle with two horns. Chelicerae brown, 3 promarginal teeth, 2 denticles at middle and 2 retromarginal teeth. Endites and labium brown at base, pale at tip, endites almost square, labium triangular. Sternum heart shaped, brown. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.22, ALE 0.19, PME 0.22, PLE 0.15, AME–AME 0.41, AME–ALE 0.68, PME–PME 0.33, PME–PLE 0.73. Legs white with brown and black pattern. Leg measurements: I 9.44 (2.86, 3.40, 2.49, 0.69), II 9.29 (3.02, 3.18, 2.36, 0.73), III 5.04 (1.77, 1.60, 1.09, 0.58), IV 6.22 (1.90, 2.51, 1.31, 0.50). Abdomen brown, with white setae and pale white reticulated pattern. Spinnerets yellowbrown.</p> <p>Epigyne (Fig. 3) length and width nearly equal, with rimmed scape and hood; copulatory opening concave, located at posteriorly, close to base of scape; copulatory duct short and strong; spermathecae large, about 3 times longer than copulatory duct, oval, separated.</p> <p>Male. The new species resembles P. tsushimensis Yamaguchi, 1960 but can be distinguished by the number of black spots on abdomen is 14 (vs. 12 in P. tsushimensis (Tanikawa, 2007, figs 54–55), and the width of the hood is much greater than the length (vs. the width and length of the hood are almost equal in P. tsushimensis (Tanikawa, 2007, fig. 50)).</p> <p>Description. Female (holotype, Fig. 6). Total length 6.58. Carapace 2.52 long, 2.33 wide. Abdomen 6.25 long, 7.35 wide. Carapace pear shaped, dark brown. Chelicerae brown, 3 promarginal teeth, 2 retromarginal teeth. Endites and labium yellow-brown, endites almost square. Sternum brown with yellow margin. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.16, ALE 0.12, PME 0.12, PLE 0.10, AME–AME 0.20, AME–ALE 0.42, PME–PME 0.22, PME–PLE 0.48. Legs yellow-brown. Leg measurements: I 6.19 (2.21, 2.24, 1.17, 0.57), II 6.09 (2.15, 2.19, 1.23, 0.52), III 3.91 (1.42, 1.33, 0.67, 0.49), IV 5.65 (2.11, 2.11, 0.97, 0.46). Abdomen pale yellow, with 14 black spots, pair of middle spots largest. (Fig. 7)</p> <p>Diagnosis. The species resembles A. staschi Jäger, 2012 by having a similar embolus and retrolateral tibial apophysis (Fig. 7) but can be distinguished by the sharp terminus of the tegular apophysis (vs. blunt in A. staschi), by the sclerotized, triangular distal apophysis of the tegulum (vs. absent in A. staschi) and the patella of the palp has a distinct retrolateral apophysis (vs. absent in A. staschi).</p> <p>Description. Male (holotype). Colouration in alcohol: Carapace, legs and abdomen pale yellow. Chelicerae brown. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.09, ALE 0.14, PME 0.08, PLE 0.13, AME–AME 0.03, AME–ALE 0.04, PME–PME 0.03, PME–PLE 0.12, AME–PME 0.05, ALE–PLE 0.03. Leg measurements: I 6.73 (1.68, 2.63, 1.48, 0.94), II 5.87 (1.53, 2.18, 1.28, 0.88), III 5.36 (1.38, 1.84, 1.34, 0.80), IV 7.55 (1.83, 2.49, 2.15, 1.08). Leg formula 4123. Chelicerae with 3 promarginal, 4 retromarginal teeth, without denticles. Tarsi and metatarsi without scopula.</p> <p>Palp (Fig. 7). Retrolateral tibial apophysis projects at an almost right angle from tibia in ventral view, with 2 short apices. Patellar apophysis present. Cymbium tip slightly conical, prolateral cymbial bulge with distinct extension. Embolus arising at 9-o’clock-position from tegulum, with distinct membranous seam. Conductor arising at 12.30-o’clockposition from tegulum, bending retrolaterally. Tegular apophysis situated subcentrally on tegulum, terminus pointed.</p> <p>Female. Unknown.</p> <p>Material examined. Pickard-Cambridge, 1871. Funny Lin &amp; Li, gen. nov. is similar to some Chinese Cicurina Menge, 1871 species by having six eyes (see Li &amp; Wang, 2017), 2 pairs of spermathecae and a dorsal tibial apophysis but can be distinguished by the retrolateral tibial apophysis divided into two parts (vs. retrolateral tibial apophysis undivided in Cicurina), conductor partially wrapped around embolus (vs. conductor and embolus separate in Cicurina) and in females, the copulatory duct is inconspicuous (vs. copulatory duct long and conspicuous in Cicurina).</p> <p>Description. Small sized. Body length 2.00–2.21. Carapace oval, covered with sparce black setae, color gradually darkens dorsally. ALE largest, PME smallest, anterior eye row recurved. Fovea distinct. Body and legs pale yellow, covered by black setae. Cribellum undivided. Abdomen uniformly white.</p> <p>Palp. The male is similar to that of Sahastata sinuspersica Marusik, Zamani &amp; Mirshamsi, 2014, but the new species has a V-shaped notch on distal tip of cymbium, and the tibia is three times longer than the cymbium, while four times longer in S. sinuspersica.</p> <p>Description. Male (holotype, Fig. 11) total length 6.82. Carapace 2.87 long, 2.90 wide; abdomen 4.27 long, 1.87 wide. Carapace almost round, white. Eye area black, black longitudinal stripe from eye area to fovea. Some long setae in the stripe. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.09, ALE 0.17, PME 0.11, PLE 0.14, AME–AME 0.05, AME–ALE 0.04, PME–PME 0.14, PME–PLE 0.03. AME–PME 0.02. ALE–PLE 0.03. Clypeus height 0.07. Endites yellow, base gradually lighter, conspicuously longer than wide. Labium fused with sternum, yellow, darker anteriorly. Legs yellow-brown, with plumose setae. Males of this new species can be distinguished from all other Cryptodrassus species by the inconspicuous retrolateral tibial apophysis and the embolus with two apophyses. Females can be distinguished by the absence of an anterior pocket of the epigyne and elongated spermathecal gland, dilated distally.</p> <p>Description. Male (holotype, Figs 14A–B). Colour in alcohol: carapace, sternum, legs and palps, chelicerae and abdomen are a unicolorous pale brown, without pattern. Total length 2.65, carapace 1.14 long, 0.83 wide, posterior lighter. Abdomen 1.33 long, 0.75 wide. Anterior eye row slightly recurved, posterior eye row straight. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.04, ALE 0.04, PME 0.04, PLE 0.03, AME–AME 0.02, AME–ALE 0.02, PME–PME 0.03, PME–PLE 0.02, AME– PME 0.03, ALE–PLE 0.03. Embolus about 3 times longer than conductor, curved, sickle-shaped, with two apophyses on middle and near terminus. Embolus arising in 10-o’clock-position from tegulum.</p> <p>Female (IZCAS-Ar43260, Figs 14C–D). Total length 3.35, carapace 1.58 long, 1.14 wide, abdomen 1.69 long, 1.13 wide. Colour as in male. The male of the new species is similar to that of L. yejiei Zhang &amp; Wang, 2021 by the straight embolus and the length of the embolus as long as the bulb but can be distinguished by the absence of a triangular apophysis on the embolus (vs. present in L. yejiei Zhang &amp; Wang, 2021). The female of this new species can be distinguished from other known female congeners by the mushroom-shaped spermatheca.</p> <p>Description. Male (holotype, Fig. 16B). Total length 8.25. Carapace 4.77 long and 4.18 wide, reddish brown in ethanol; rim of carapace brown and with a small ridge; fovea U-shaped, without any modification posteriorly; caput slightly raised. This genus is similar to Jingneta Wang &amp; Li, 2020, Longileptoneta Seo, 2015 and Masirana Kishida, 1942 by the presence of spines on the male palpal femur but can be distinguished by the absence of a tibial apophysis (vs. tibia with apophyses in Jingneta, Longileptoneta and Masirana), cymbium with transverse depression (vs. absent in Jingneta) and patella expanded, with spines.</p> <p>Description. Male. Length 1.91. Eyes six. Carapace brown. Median groove, cervical grooves, and radial furrows distinct, dark brown. Abdomen grey, oval, with dark pattern.</p> <p>Palp. Palpal femur with ventral and dorsal rows of strong spines, tibia without apophysis, cymbium with transverse depression. This new species can be distinguished from all other Paratus species by the long, sword-shaped embolus, terminus of tegular outgrowth with an apophysis and the retrolateral tibial apophysis comprises two parts.</p> <p>Description. Male (holotype, Fig. 22A). Total length 2.95, carapace 1.46 long, 1.31 wide, abdomen 1.26 long, 1.09 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.11, ALE 0.09, PME 0.10, PLE 0.10, AME–AME 0.09, AME–ALE 0.05, PME– PME 0.11, PME–PLE 0.12, ALE–PLE 0.04. Several bent setae originating at base of fang. Carapace bright yellow, with two pairs of brown bands laterally. Highest point of carapace at fovea. Fovea red brown, long and straight. Cervical groove indistinct, radial groove distinct. Sternum light yellow, with grey pattern submarginally. Chelicerae same color as carapace, with 3 promarginal and 4 retromarginal teeth. Abdomen grey, with distinct black patches and irregular white guanine spots. Leg measurements: I 3.95 (1.20, 1.68, 0.86, 0.21), II 3.49 (1.02, 1.45, 0.67, 0.35), III 3.61 (0.95, 1.52, 0.86, 0.28), IV 4.11 (1.20, 1.42, 1.06, 0.43). Legs colored as carapace, tibia I with 7 pairs of long ventral spines, tibia II with 6 pairs of long ventral spines, metatarsi I and II with 3 pairs of long ventral spines.</p> <p>Palp (holotype, Fig. 19). Patella slightly longer than tibia. Retrolateral tibial apophysis comprises two parts, ventroretrolateral tibial apophysis narrowed, straight, two times longer than dorsal retrolateral tibial apophysis, serrations on dorsal retrolateral tibial apophysis. Tegulum oval, with triangular tegular outgrowth. Embolus and conductor originating at dorsally on bulb, conductor strongly curved, embolus longer than conductor, straight.</p> <p>Material examined. (Figs 20–21, 22B–C, 23)</p> <p>Diagnosis. The new species is similar to P. hamatus Mu &amp; Zhang, 2018 and P. sinensis Marusik, Zheng &amp; Li, 2008 by lacking a conductor, the curved embolus with a thin apex and the long, narrow retrolateral tibial apophysis but can be distinguished by the straightness of the retrolateral tibial apophysis (vs. curved in P.hamatus) and the embolus with serrations (vs. embolus smooth in P.hamatus and P. sinensis). The epigyne is similar to P. sinensis by having a W-shaped plate but can be distinguished by the long copulatory duct that turns almost 180° toward spermatheca (vs. long and V-shaped in P. sinensis) and the copulatory opening is as wide as the diameter of a spermatheca (vs. shorter than the diameter of a spermatheca in P. sinensis).</p> <p>Description. Male (holotype, Figs 22B, 23A). Total length 2.57, carapace 1.29 long, 1.21 wide, abdomen 1.28 long, 1.00 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.12, ALE 0.11, PME 0.10, PLE 0.11, AME–AME 0.06, AME–ALE 0.06, PME–PME 0.09, PME–PLE 0.10, ALE–PLE 0.02. Several bent setae originating at base of fang. Carapace bright yellow, with two pairs of brown bands laterally. Highest point of carapace at fovea. Fovea red brown, long and straight. Cervical groove indistinct, radial groove distinct. Legs coloured as carapace, femora III and IV with two distinct black annuli that divide femora into three almost equal parts. Tibiae I and II with 7 pairs of long ventral spines, metatarsi I and II with 3 pairs of long ventral spines.</p> <p>Palp (Fig. 20). Retrolateral tibial apophysis narrowed, straight. Tegulum oval, with triangular tegular outgrowth. Embolus originating at middle of bulb, strongly curved, with serration, terminus with small, narrow apophysis.</p> <p>Female (IZCAS-Ar43270, Figs 22C, 23B). Total length 1.92, carapace 0.92 long, 0.91 wide, abdomen 1.04 long, 0.77 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.11, ALE 0.10, PME 0.09, PLE 0.11, AME–AME 0.07, AME–ALE 0.05, PME– PME 0.10, PME–PLE 0.11, ALE–PLE 0.02. Leg measurements: I 3.82 (1.13, 1.57, 0.74, 0.38), II 4.13 (1.22, 1.60, 0.85, 0.46), III 4.25 (1.31, 1.44, 1.00, 0.50), IV 4.76 (1.35, 1.45, 1.36, 0.60). Other characters as in male except darker colour and slightly larger body size.</p> <p>Epigyne (Fig. 21). Epigynal plate weakly sclerotized, with W-shaped posterior margin, without wrinkles. Copulatory opening hidden under epigynal plate. Copulatory duct long, V-shaped. Spermathecae spherical, separated by about 3 times spermatheca diameter. Fertilization duct curved dorsally, longer than radius of spermatheca.</p> <p>Material examined. The new species is similar to S. xuanson sp. nov., but males can be distinguished by the terminal flat associated sclerite (vs. long, horn-shaped associated sclerite in S. xuanson) and the blunt terminus of the embolus (vs. sharp in S. xuanson), and females can be distinguished by the large, oval spermatheca (vs. very small spermatheca in S. xuanson).</p> <p>Description. Male (holotype, Fig. 28A). Total length 1.02; carapace length 0.50; carapace width 0.44; abdomen length 0.51; abdomen width 0.35. Carapace pyriform, narrowing gradually anteriorly; light yellow, suffused with purplish pattern; pars cephalica flat; fovea not visible. Sternum light yellow, suffused with purplish color, longer than wide. Endites light yellow, suffused with purplish tinge; with serrula; labium light yellow, suffused with purplish tinge. Clypeus nearly vertical, short. Chelicerae light yellow, anterolateral margin with a cluster of short setae, promargin with a series of six teeth reaching lamina; retromargin with two small denticles. Eyes: six contiguous eyes surrounded by black pigmentation, PME smallest, PLE largest. Abdomen oval; purplish. Legs light yellow. Leg measurements: I 1.78 (0.50, 0.66, 0.36, 0.26), II 1.58 (0.44, 0.52, 0.36, 0.26), III 1.34 (0.39, 0.44, 0.29, 0.22), IV 1.94 (0.58, 0.68, 0.43, 0.25).</p> <p>Palp (Fig. 24). The male of the new species is similar to H. aurita Zhang, Zhu &amp; Song, 2005 by the shape of the dorsal retrolateral tibial apophysis and strongly coiled and folded embolus, but it differs by having the conductor straight with a 90° bend at the terminus, stick shaped (vs. with flattened terminus, ribbon-like in H. aurita) and ventro-retrolateral tibial apophysis is significantly longer than the dorsal retrolateral tibial apophysis (vs. ventro-retrolateral tibial apophysis as long as the dorsal retrolateral tibial apophysis in H. aurita).</p> <p>Description. Male (holotype, Fig. 31). Total length 3.14. Carapace 1.65 long, 1.35 wide; abdomen 1.43 long, 1.20 wide. Carapace brown with white scales. Ocular area greyish black with white scales. Eye measurements: AME 0.08; ALE 0.16; PME 0.14; PLE 0.11; AME–AME 0.11; AME–ALE 0.04; PME–PME 0.25; PME–PLE 0.18. Sternum, chelicera, labium and endites brown, chelicerae same color as carapace, with 2 promarginal teeth and 1 retromarginal tooth. Legs brown with long spines. The female is similar by the oval copulatory opening (Zhang &amp; Wang, 2017). The male differs by the following: the truncated terminus of the retrolateral tibial apophysis is longer than wide (vs. wider than long in H. diardi) and the retrolateral tibial apophysis has a depression in the middle of the tip (vs. the depression absent in H. diardi). In the female, the hood is inconspicuous (vs. the lateral side of the hood with a distinct depression in H. diardi) and the abdomen with a red pattern (vs. absent in H. diardi).</p> <p>Description. Male (holotype, Figs 34A–B). Total length 11.64. Carapace 5.36 long, 4.91 wide. Abdomen 5.34 long, 4.84 wide. Legs with brown-white setae. Abdomen elongated oval, dorsum with three pairs of muscle depressions, dark green, with white spots.</p> <p>Palp (Fig. 32). Retrolateral tibial apophysis terminus black, with depression; cymbium flattened, covered with long setae; bulb almost oval, with sperm duct extending along margin, tegular lobe simple; embolus wide.</p> <p>Female (IZCAS-Ar43286, Figs 34C–D). Total length 13.92. Carapace 5.63 long, 5.11 wide. Abdomen 7.64 long, 6.07 wide. Males of the new species are similar to S. formosensis (Kayashima, 1943) by the T-shaped conductor and embolus arising from the 9-o’clock-position of the tegulum (Yu et al., 2019, figs 1–17), but can be distinguished by having the median apophysis folded outward in a pocket shape (vs. median apophysis straight in S. formosensis), the dorsal retrolateral tibial apophysis is two times longer than the ventro-retrolateral tibial apophysis (vs. 1.5 times in S. formosensis) and the terminus of the dorsal retrolateral tibial apophysis is enlarged and racket shaped (vs. flat in S. formosensis). Females of the new species resemble those of S. spinescens Dankittipakul &amp; Corronca, 2009 by the long accessory lobe of spermatheca, but in the former species the epigynal pockets are contiguous and median septum absent (vs. epigynal pocket separate and median septum present in S. spinescens).</p> <p>Description. Male (holotype, Fig. 37A). Total length 4.26; carapace 1.99 long, 2.53 wide; abdomen 2.25 long, 2.10 wide. Carapace yellow, lateral margins yellowish-brown. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.12, ALE 0.08, PME 0.13, PLE 0.18, AME–AME 0.13, AME–ALE 0.28, PME–PME 0.46, PME–PLE 0.23, ALE–PLE 0.15. Chelicerae yellow, with 3 retromarginal teeth and 1 promarginal tooth; labium and maxillae yellow; sternum yellow, lateral margins brown; legs pale yellow, with greyish spots. Burmalema shan Zhao &amp; Li, sp. nov.</p> <p>Diagnosis. The new genus resembles Telema Simon, 1882 by lacking a cymbial apophysis, but it can be distinguished by the following: belt-shaped tibial glands (vs. plate-shaped); ratio of embolus/bulb lengths ca. 0.80 (vs. less than 0.42), and twisted embolus (vs. triangular or nearly needle-shaped); females can be distinguished by the L-shaped endogyne with long and sclerotized tubes (vs. cane shaped, with membranous tubes). The new genus can be distinguished from all the other genera of Telemidae by the absence of a cymbial apophysis (vs. presence).</p> <p>Description. Total length 1.25–1.53, carapace 0.52–0.90 long. Eyes vestigial. Carapace, sternum, endites, labium and legs light brown. Endites longer than wide; labium wider than long. Tibia I 0.90–1.00. Leg formula 1243. In male, length of cymbium&gt; femur&gt; tibia&gt; patella; prolateral cymbial apophysis absent; embolus spiraled and long relative to bulb. Carapace light brown. Eyes vestigial, clypeus height 0.08. Chelicerae, legs, labium, and endites light brown. Sternum with sparse setae. Leg measurements: I 3.07 (0.90, 0.15, 0.90, 0.70, 0.42), II 2.77 (0.80, 0.15, 0.82, 0.50, 0.50), III 2.00 (0.60, 0.15, 0.50, 0.35, 0.40), IV 2.43 (0.81, 0.13, 0.56, 0.57, 0.36). A dorsal, Y-shaped scuta and a couple of lateral scutae present (arrows in Fig. 38A). Abdomen ivory coloured and ellipsoid.</p> <p>Palp (Figs 38B–D). Tibia 1.60 times longer than patella, cymbium 2.08 times longer than tibia, bulb shaped as shown in Figs 38B–D. This species resembles M. kaorao Zhao &amp; Li, 2020 by having the tip of the embolus directed dorsally, but can be distinguished by the following characters which are distinct for a subtroglophile: six eyes encircled by black, blue or dark brown carapace (vs. typical characters of troglobiont, such as vestigial eyes, light yellow or pale carapace or abdomen); the ratio of the length of embolus/bulb less than 0.50 (vs. larger than 0.90); the spermathecae with tiny tubes (vs. one large tube only).</p> <p>Description. Male (holotype, Fig. 40A). Total length 0.97. Carapace 0.41 long, 0.34 wide. Abdomen 0.56 long, 0.50 wide. Carapace dark brown with sparse black dots. Six eyes encircled by black, clypeus height 0.07. Chelicerae, legs, labium, and endites light brown. This genus can be distinguished from Telema by the following characters: the ratio of the length of embolus/carapace 0.25–0.30 (vs. 0.50–0.65), the presence of a prolateral cymbial apophysis (vs. absence), belt-shaped tibial glands (vs. plate-shaped), the ratio of the length of embolus/bulb 0.38–1.10 (vs. smaller than 0.32); spermatheca sac-like or globular (vs. cane shaped).</p> <p>Description. Total length 0.90–1.15 in male, 0.95–1.20 in female. Carapace 0.40–0.51 long, Carapace pear shaped, pale or dark brown. Six eyes encircled by black or absent. Tibia I 0.52–0.94. Leg formula 1243, leg glands belt shaped. Abdomen blue or for males, bulb small relative to carapace, the length ratio of bulb/carapace 0.25–0.30. Length of cymbium&gt; femur&gt; tibia&gt; patella; cymbial apophysis present prolaterally.</p> <p>Distribution. Southern Vietnam and Southern Thailand.</p> <p>Etymology. The generic name is a combination of the first two letters of millet (referring to the small size) and the latter four letters of Telema (type genus of the family); feminine in gender.</p> <p>Species included. Milema lorkor Zhao &amp; Li, sp. nov., Milema nuichua Zhao &amp; Li, sp. nov. and Milema sai Zhao &amp; Li, sp. nov.</p> <p>Biology. Habitats of this genus are diverse. The type species, M. nuichua Zhao &amp; Li, sp. nov. inhabits leaf litter; M. sai Zhao &amp; Li, sp. nov. is found at cave entrances; and M. lorkor Zhao &amp; Li, sp. nov. is found deep in caves. (Figs 48–51)</p> <p>Diagnosis. The males of this new species can be distinguished from all other Singaporemma species by the embolus spiraling at 720°. Females of this new species differ from S. takensis Yan &amp; Lin, 2018, S. singulare Shear, 1978 and S. lenachanae Lin &amp; Li, 2017 by the presence of a central process (vs. absent); from S. bifurcata Lin &amp; Li, 2010 and S. wulongensi s Lin &amp; Li, 2014 by having a nearly oval-shaped inner vulval plate (vs. “Ω”-shaped).</p> <p>Description. Male (holotype, Figs 50A, C, E, 51A). Total length 1.10; carapace 0.51 long, 0.48 wide, 0.45 high; abdomen 0.64 long, 0.62 wide, 0.44 high. Carapace: dark red, carapace finely reticulated; six eyes, white with black ocular base, ALE&gt;PLE&gt;PME, ALE and PLE adjacent, anterior eye row slightly recurved; cephalic part raised, top flat; clypeus high, sloping forward, with sparse setae, marginally rectangular; chelicerae lacking horns or processes, cheliceral lamina well developed; endites basally wide, distally narrow, labium triangular, distally blunt; sternum finely reticulated, scutellate, marginally rugose, posterior corner truncated. (Figs 52–55)</p> <p>Diagnosis. Males of this species are similar to D. umbrophila Tanikawa, 1991 by the slender embolus and curved ectobasal cymbial process. Females have wide copulatory duct. However, this new species can be distinguished by having the base and the end of the embolus with the same thickness (vs. base of embolus significantly thicker than the end in D. umbrophila) and the ectobasal cymbial process is directed laterally (vs. directed ventrally in D. umbrophila). Females can be distinguished by the terminus of the spermatheca directed laterally (vs. directed dorsally in D. umbrophila).</p> <p>Description. Male (holotype, Fig. 54A). Total length 2.05. Carapace 1.11 long, 0.75 wide. Abdomen 0.97 long, 0.88 wide. Dorsum of carapace yellow-brown, with grey-brown markings. Cervical groove distinct. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.13, ALE 0.11, PME 0.08, PLE 0.08, AME–AME 0.05, AME–ALE 0.01, PME–PME 0, PME–PLE 0.04, ALE–PLE 0.04. Chelicerae long and strong, brown, with 3 promarginal and 4 retromarginal teeth. Gnathocoxae and labium brown. Sternum yellow-brown, with sparse black setae. Males of the new species can be easily distinguished by the long and slender conductor, the ventrallydirected median apophysis, and the middle with a lamellar apophysis. Females are similar to S. nigroris (Yoshida, Tso &amp; Severinghaus, 2000) but can be distinguished by the epigyne field being 3 times longer than wide and the copulatory ducts are Z-shaped (vs. equal length and width and copulatory duct with one turn in S. nigroris).</p> <p>Description. Male (holotype, Figs 57C–D, 58). Total length 1.61. Carapace 0.81 long, 0.69 wide, abdomen 0.91 long, 0.70 wide. Carapace brown, anterior part of ocular area with two distinct processes. Chelicerae brown, with 2 promarginal teeth and 1 retromarginal tooth. Sternum brown. Male (holotype, Fig. 61A). Total length 1.35, carapace 0.72 long, 0.82 wide. Carapace brownish red, with symmetric to dark edge. Sternum yellow with dark brown margins. Coxae IV separated by 2/3 their width. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.08, ALE 0.05, PME 0.05, PLE 0.04; AME–AME 0.04, AME–ALE 0.04, AME–PME 0.07, ALE–PLE 0.02, PME–PLE 0.09. Legs yellow-brown. (Figs 63–65)</p> <p>Diagnosis. Males of the new species resemble all other Pandava species by the divided median apophysis and having the median lobe of the tibial apophysis longer than the retrolateral lobe. Females differ from other species by the long, coiled copulatory duct.</p> <p>Description. Male (holotype). Total length 3.13. Carapace 1.53 long; 1.19 wide. Abdomen 1.52 long; 1.03 wide. Carapace brown with cephalic area dark brown. Chelicerae brown, with 3 promarginal and 2 retromarginal teeth. Sternum, labium and endites yellowish brown. Eye diameters and interdistances: AME 0.05; ALE 0.11; PME 0.11; PLE 0.10; AME– AME 0.04; AME–ALE 0.06; PME–PME 0.09; PME–PLE 0.12; AME–PME 0.10; ALE–PLE 0.08. Legs brown. Leg measurements: I 5.32 (1.56, 1.94, 1.20, 0.62), II 4.38 (1.34, 1.53, 0.99, 0.52), III 3.61 (1.17, 1.21, 0.82, 0.41), IV 3.52 (1.10, 1.18, 0.80, 0.44). Abdomen beige, with brown pattern.</p> <p>Palp (Figs 63–64). Median apophysis conical, bifurcated. Sperm duct visible in middle of tegulum. Prolateral lobe of tibial apophysis bifurcated, median lobe of tibial apophysis longest, terminus slightly curved, retrolateral lobe of tibial apophysis semi-circular with notch in the middle.</p> <p>Female (IZCAS-Ar43336). Total length 4.13. Carapace 1.73 long; 1.25 wide. Abdomen 2.31 long; 1.25 wide. Chelicerae with 2 promarginal and 2 retromarginal teeth. Eye diameters and interdistances: AME 0.07; ALE 0.12; PME 0.11; PLE 0.12; AME–AME 0.05; AME–ALE 0.07; PME–PME 0.10; PME–PLE 0.13; AME–PME 0.10; ALE–PLE 0.04. Leg measurements: I 4.25 (1.31, 1.60, 0.75, 0.59), II 3.69 (1.26, 1.31, 0.66, 0.46), III 3.05 (0.93, 1.20, 0.53, 0.39), IV 4.00 (1.00, 1.01, 0.91, 0.48). Habitus similar to that of male.</p> <p>Female genitalia (Fig. 65). Epigyne with wide plate, long, coiled copulatory duct. Single elongate spermatheca. Fertilization duct transverse.</p> <p>Material examined. Tang leg. Paratypes. 3♂ 2♀ (IZCAS-Ar43332–Ar43336), same data as holotype.</p> <p>Distribution. Known only from the type locality.</p> <p>Etymology.
