Specimens examined. 1♂, Asir, Abha, Hay Al-Nusub ( Abha Farm Centre), 3.vi.2001, Malaise trap, H.A. Dawah ( CERS) ; 1♀, same data but, 1–25.v.2013 ; 2♂, Asir, Abha, Madenate Al-Ameer Sultan, Hay Al-Sad , 25.ii.–25.v.2002, Malaise trap, H.A. Dawah ( CERS) .
Distribution. This species was previously recorded from Saudi Arabia by Dawah & Abdullah (2006); Deeming & Al-Dhafer (2012). It was described from Italy ( Sicily) and further recorded from Aldabra, Cameroun, Cape Verde Island, Canary Islands, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Lebanon, Liberia, Nigeria, Rhodesia, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Yemen, widespread Mediterranean sub-region to Oriental Region and Pacific Islands (including Hawaii) ( Sabrosky 1980; Deeming & Al-Dhafer 2012).
