Type material. MNHN-IM-2000-1575, holotype.
Distribution. Australia, Christmas Island ( Kosuge 1990), Djibouti ( Jousseaume 1898; Jay 2007), Marshall Islands ( Kosuge 1990), Reunion ( Jousseaume 1898; Jay 2007).
Remarks. The genus Mastonia is of feminine gender, therefore the name should be Mastonia interpicta .
