Type locality. Eastern Madagascar, Andranomandevy , Didy, Ambatondrazaka, 1039 m a.s.l.

Type material. Holotype ♂ [sex not confirmed] ( Figs 57–60 View FIGURES 57–60 ): ‘Andranomandevy / Didy 1039 m / Ambatondrazaka [erroneously listed by Wolfrum as ‘A. batondazaka’] / X 56 [October 1956] E.R. [p] // Institut / Scientifique / Madagascar [p] // Typus [rectangular red label, h] // Anhelita / brevipes / sp. nov. Wolfr. [h]’ ( MNHN).
