Identification source. Voucher specimens (Lelej 2005).
Previous record. This species was recorded from Vietnam by Lelej (2005) without reference to voucher specimens.
Distribution. China. Taiwan. Vietnam: Quang Ninh *, Thanh Hoa *, Gia Lai *.
Occurrence in Vietnam. January, October, November. South China-Vietnam subtropical evergreen forests, Northern Indochina subtropical forests, and Southern Vietnam lowland dry forests ecoregions.
Sex association. This species was described from both sexes, but the evidence of this association was not indicated. Chen (1957) examined five pairs in copula and confirmed this treatment.
Remarks. This species seems common in Taiwan. In continental East Asia, it has fewer records, but the specimens examined herein suggest broad distribution in Vietnam.
