Identification source. Voucher specimen ( Okayasu et al. 2021b).

Previous record. This species was recorded from Hanoi by Okayasu et al. (2021b).

Distribution. Thailand. Vietnam: Hanoi, Kien Giang *.

Occurrence in Vietnam. October. Red River freshwater swamp forests and Tonle Sap-Mekong peat swamp forests ecoregion. 30–500 m alt.

Sex association. Male unknown.

Remarks. This species was initially placed in the genus Smicromyrme Thomson, 1870 based on the slender mandible shape. The recent revision of females in this genus ( Okayasu et al. 2021b) revealed that Andreimyrme females are more variable, and more diverse, than previously known.
