Identification source. Compared with type [ ZISP] .

Previous record. This species was described from Quang Ninh by Lelej (1996d).

Distribution. China. Laos. Thailand. Vietnam: Quang Ninh, Nghe Anh*.

Occurrence in Vietnam. June, October. South China-Vietnam subtropical evergreen forests and Northern Indochina subtropical forests ecoregions. 185 m alt. “Open glade with rare grass”.

Sex association. Male unknown.

Remarks. This species is likely a synonym of Mi. athalia , because the diagnostic features of Mi. kuznetsovi ( Lelej 1996d) seem inadequate to separate them ( Williams et al. 2019b).
