Material examined. 6♀. Vietnam: GIA LAI: 20 km N Buon Luoi , 3–12.XI.1988, A. Sharkov leg. [4♀ IBSS], 20.XI.1988 [1♀ IBSS] ; DONG NAI: National Park Cat Tien, river Dong Nai , dipterocarp forest, sand near river, 11°26'49"N 107°26'26"E, 26.VIII.2008, V. Zryanin leg. [1♀ IBSS] GoogleMaps .

Identification source. Compared with voucher specimens from Thailand ( Williams et al. 2019b) [SKYC].

Previous record. None.

Distribution. China. Thailand. Vietnam *: Gia Lai, Dong Nai.

Occurrence in Vietnam. August, November. Southern Vietnam lowland dry forests and Southeast Indochina dry evergreen forests ecoregions. Sand near river.

Sex association. Male unknown. In Gia Lai, one undescribed male has been collected at the same place and date as four females and they may belong to the same species .

Remarks. This species was placed in Petersenidia by Lelej (2005), but it has a distinct posterior pale setal band on the second metasomal tergum and belongs in Krombeinidia .
