Identification source. Voucher specimen ( Lelej 1996b).

Previous record. This species was recorded from Gia Lai and Hanoi by Lelej (1996b) and Williams et al. (2019b).

Distribution. China. Indonesia. Thailand. Vietnam: Hanoi, Thua Thien Hue*, Gia Lai, Dong Nai *.

Occurrence in Vietnam. May, August. Red River freshwater swamp forests, Northern Vietnam lowland rain forests, Southern Vietnam lowland dry forests, and Southeast Indochina dry evergreen forests ecoregions. 50–100 m alt.

Sex association. Female unknown.

Remarks. This species is widespread in southeastern Asia, but it is rarely collected.

Diversity and distribution. This genus includes nine Oriental East Asian species (Lelej 2005; Williams et al. 2019b; Pagliano et al. 2020).

Remarks. There is no useful key to identify Orientidia species.
