Material examined. 1♀. Vietnam: DAK LAK: Dak Lak Prov., Krong Bong District, Chu Yang Sin National Park , 12°29'00.1"N 108°20'21.4"E, 520 m alt., 13.III.2013, T. Mita et al. leg. [1♀ VNMN] GoogleMaps .

Identification source. Compared with voucher specimens from Thailand (Lelej et al. 2023) [THNHM].

Previous record. None.

Distribution. Laos. Thailand. Vietnam *: Dak Lak.

Occurrence in Vietnam. March. Southern Annamites montane rain forests ecoregion. 520 m alt.

Sex association. This species was initially described from the male only. The female was associated and described by Lelej et al. (2023) based on identical ITS1 sequences of the nuclear genome.

Remarks. Two Southeast Asian species of Kurzenkotilla , Kur. annamensis and Kur. harmandi , are apparently closely related and distinguished only by the setal color and markings on the male metasoma, female mesosomal shape, and size of setal spots on the female metasomal tergum 2 (Lelej et al. 2023).
