Material examined. Namibia: NAMIBIA 0502, stn 24, 18 °07.7'S, 11°39.2'E, 500–541 m, 10.III.2005, 1 ovigerous female, 48 × 54 mm (IEO-CD-NB05/026).
Distribution. The specimen contributes with a new record to the study area, off the Namibian coast between 20°31' S and 24°50' S, on muddy bottoms (Macpherson 1988a). This record expands the known bathymetric range of the species ( 570–770 m) into shallower waters ( 500–541 m).
