Material examined. Madagascar, Centre Est, chaine de l’Andrionony (Ch. Blanc), MNHN-IM-2000-35172 (holotype) .
Remarks. The holotype of B. boulangeri shows no signs of a breathing device, therefore this species is reclassified into Acroptychia .
