Material examined. Holotype ( MNHN 6073). 9 specimens in 3 lots from Vanuatu, 3 specimens in 2 lots from the Solomon Islands.

Distribution. Previously reported from Vanuatu ( Sirenko 2001), the new records expand the distribution to the north within Vanuatu ( 685–800 m) and also add equivocal records from the Solomon Islands ( 520–1060 m). Found living and feeding on sunken terrestrial plant remains.
