Note. Bernhauer (1907 a: 281, introduction) comments that all types are deposited in own collection and he acknowledgments Dr. von Ihering for the Brazilian specimens donated.

Note 2. Current name Ochthephilum iheringi ( Bernhauer, 1907) after Blackwelder (1944: 124).
