Stenoptilia veronicae Karvonen, 1932 View in CoL

Material: 5 specimens, 16.VII.2024, Kohosh ( RMA), ( CUK) ; 2♂, 06-07.VIII.2021, Krasniy Dar ( CUK) .

Distribution: Northern Europe, Kazakhstan, Polar Ural, the entire Siberia, Yakutia, Russian Far East.

Remarks. The species is widely distributed and can be found in open meadows and on mountain slopes. Larvae feed on various species of Veronica . In Altai, the species was seen on Veronica longifolia ; in Tuva, it was found on Veronica porphyriana .
