Remarks. The pygofer and aedeagus of this species lack processes ( DeLong & Wolda 1984: 25, figs 26-31). In their remarks, the original authors compared P. boquetea with P. vana DeLong & Freytag, 1972 , a species of the subgenus Bulbusana . The absence of processes on the pygofer and aedeagus are indicative that P. boquetea belongs in the subgenus Polanana .
