Type species: Orrhodia eriophora Püngeler, 1901: 186 , by original designation.
= Dimya Moore, 1882: 121 View in CoL (TS: Dimya sinuata Moore , in Hewitson & Moore 1882: 122). Dimya Moore View in CoL is a junior homonym of Dimya Rouault, 1850: 470 View in CoL (Mollusca). There is no objective replacement name but D. sinuata is congeneric with Noctua basilinea View in CoL [Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775, the type species of Apamea Ochsenheimer, 1816 View in CoL . The latter is therefore available for use as a subjective replacement name.
