TL: Darjiling [Darjeeling] ( West Bengal, India)

Distribution. India: Sikkim, West Bengal, (Moore 1882, Cotes & Swinhoe 1887). Global: Indonesia (Greater Sunda Island), Nepal, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam ( Kononenko & Pinratana 2013).

Remark: Worldwide two subspecies, A. s. sikkima distributed in higher latitudes, and A. s. marmoraria ( Wileman & South, 1920) till now reported from Luzon, Philippines.

Type species: Noctua radians Westwood, 1848: 58 , by monotypy.
