Specimens examined. COLOMBIA, Cesar: Los Venados , 1 male, 2010, Mejia C. leg. ( CBUMAG_ENT01675 ). La Guajira: San Juan del Cesar, 1 male, 15.VI.1969, L.M. Rico & C. Cujia leg. ( UNAB_6522 ) .
Geographical distribution. This species is known from Colombia (Quindío), Ecuador, Peru, and Chile. New department records from Cesar and La Guajira ( Colombia) are added.
