Geographical distribution. This species is known from Trinidad & Tobago, Colombia (Magdalena, Meta, and Tolima), Ecuador, Peru (Junín), Brazil (Amazonas, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Goiás), Bolivia (Beni, Santa Cruz), and Paraguay. New department records from Cesar and Córdoba ( Colombia) are added.
