Geographical distribution. This species is known from Cuba, Mexico, Nicaragua (Chontales), Costa Rica, Honduras, Panama, Colombia (Antioquia, Bolívar, Cundinamarca, Huila, Meta, Putumayo, Quindío, Santander, Tolima), Venezuela, Bolivia (Beni, Santa Cruz), Guatemala, Brazil (Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás, Distrito Federal, Maranhão, Piauí, Pernambuco, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul), and Paraguay (Guairá. Caaguazu). New department records from Atlántico, Cesar, and Magdalena ( Colombia) are added.
