External diagnosis ( Hyman 1941). About 55 mm long, thin, and flat. Eyes surrounding the anterior end in a single row, then widening to about 3 rows on each side at the end of the anterior third, then gradually decreasing in number toward the posterior end. Dorsum uniformly black due to fine black granulation over a dark brown background ( Figure 14a View FIGURE 14 ).
