Matitas leñosas. Flores en parte cleistógamas. Pétalos laterales dirigidos hacia arriba. Estilo nunca muy curvado, engrosado hacia el ápice, pero débilmente, sin o con muy corto pico estigmático y con abertura estigmática dirigida más bien hacia arriba.
