Buitenzorg View in CoL (Blume): 17 (1823). – Type: INDONESIA. Java, Blume s.n. (lectotype L [L.2825707], designated by Wang et al., Reinwardtia 21(2): 71 (2022); isolectotypes L [L.2825693, L.2825694]) .

Distribution. Brunei, Kalimantan, Sarawak ( Burtt, 1970); Sumatra, Java, Borneo ( Wang et al., 2022).

Notes. Additional notes on this species and specimens were cited in Burtt (1970), and a lectotype was designated by Wang et al. (2022). This is one of the most widespread species of Cyrtandra recorded, with a possible distribution including Sumatra and Java ( Wang et al., 2022). Further study is required to clarify the limits of this species and confirm its distribution.
