MALAYSIA. North Borneo [Sabah], Mt Kinabalu , eastern shoulder, 3500 ft, 18 vi 1961, Chew, Corner & Stainton RSNB 643 (holotype E [E00383705] and spirit [E00743741]; isotypes K [K000831572], L [L0350475, L0350476], US [ US 00080957]) .

Distribution. Sabah, Sarawak ( Hilliard & Burtt, 2005b).

Notes. The specimens listed under Cyrtandra phoenicolasia Lauterb. from Mount Kinabalu in Beaman et al. (2001) are now considered C. latibracteata ( Hilliard & Burtt, 2005b) .

Distribution. Sabah ( Burtt, 1993; Beaman et al., 2001).
