Cyrtandra atrichos C.B.Clarke View in CoL in A.DC. & C.DC., Monogr. Phan. 5(1): 237 (1883); Burtt, Notes Roy. Bot. Gard. Edinburgh 36: 160 (1978). – Type: MALAYSIA. Sarawak, Pankalan-ampat , xi 1866, Beccari PB 2792 (lectotype K [K000831529] designated here; isolectotype FI [ FI013133 ]) .

Distribution. Sarawak ( Clarke, 1883; Burtt, 1978).

Notes. An updated description and illustration for this species was provided in Burtt (1978). Clarke listed specimens of Beccari 2792 from both K and his own herbarium (now in FI) in the original protologue for this species. The specimen in K is selected here as the lectotype because it has mature fruits.

Sabah, Mt Kinabalu , Ulu Liwagu and Ulu Mesilau , 5000 ft, 6 ix 1961, Chew, Corner & Stainton RSNB 2820 (holotype K [K000831552]; isotypes A [A00216501], E [E00062473, E00743652 (spirit)], L [L0003346]) .

Distribution. Sabah ( Burtt, 1990b; Beaman et al., 2001).
