Sumatra, near Dator [? Dalor], 1897, Curtis 455 (holotype K [K000831566]) .

Notes. Kraenzlin (1906) incorrectly assigned this species to the island of Borneo, but in fact the type specimen is from Sumatra ( Burtt, 1970; 1978; Wang et al., 2022). This species is a synonym of Cyrtandra navicellata Zipp. ex C.B.Clarke ( Wang et al., 2022).

Cyrtandra sp. nov. in the affinity of C. ramunculosa , Edinburgh J. Bot. 61: 141 (2005). – Exemplar specimens: INDONESIA. East Kalimantan, NW of Tabang , along Sungai Belayan [Belajan], around Jelini, 100–150 m, 8 i 1979, Murata et al. 1230 (BO, L) ; East Kalimantan, Berouw, top of Mt Ilas Mapulu , 800 m, 23 ix 1957, Kostermans 14051 (BO, L) .

Notes. A brief description and notes on this species were given in Hilliard & Burtt (2005a), along with a statement that as there are no flowers, they judge the material inadequate for use in describing the species.

Cyrtandra Verrucosissima Kraenzl., Philipp. J. Sci., C View in CoL 8: 173 (1913); Burtt, Notes Roy. Bot. Gard. Edinburgh 36: 178 (1978). – Type: MALAYSIA. Sarawak, native collector 887 (n.v.)

Notes. Burtt (1978) excluded this taxon from Cyrtandra View in CoL and suggested that this is probably Didymocarpus crinitus Jack View in CoL (now Codonoboea crinita (Jack) C.L.Lim View in CoL ). This is congruent with Vitek et al. (2000) and the Gesneriaceae Resource Centre View in CoL ( GRC, 2022).
