Distribution. China ( Sichuan, Yunnan), Myanmar.

Remarks. Tethea ( Tethea) subampliata (Houlbert 1921) was downgraded to subspecific rank as Tethea ( Tethea) albicostata subampliata (Houlbert 1921) by Jiang et al. (2015), but we defer this treatment because we did not examine the types.
