Гурсы-Ташъ [Peter the Great Range, Kara-Shura River valley, Gursy-Tash River] / 29.VII.1911. А. Гольбекъ [A. Golbek] // Celonites ♀ / modestus , n. sp / G. Kostylev det. 1932 // Lectotype ♀ / Celonites modestus / Kostylev, 1935 / des. Fateryga, 2024 [red label] // Zoological Institute / St. Petersburg / INS_HYM_0000324 [pale yellow label]” [ ZISP]. PARALECTOTYPE: TAJIKISTAN: Peter the Great Range, Kara-Shura River valley, Yashil-Kul Lake, 6.VIII.1911, leg. A. Golbek [ ZISP].

Current status. Valid ( Carpenter 2001).

Remarks. Kostylev (1935) did not indicate any material examined. Two females with his identification labels belong to the type series according to Art. 74.1.3 of ICZN (1999).
