Known from the Afrotropical region. The record from Madagascar mentioned in RISBEC (1960: 629) is doubtful. BRÉNIÈRE (1965b: 347) mentions Apanteles bordagei from Madagascar citing GRANGER (1949: 359) as reference, but GRANGER recorded this species only from Réunion and Africa. The record from Madagascar in APPERT, BETBEDER- MATIBET & RANAIVOSOA (1969: 568) is based on BRENIÈRE (1965b). Consequently Madagascar is deleted from the distribution list.
