This endemic species has been cited only from “ Mexico ” without precise localities ( Martins and Pereira 1965). The following specimen represents a new state record for Veracruz: “ MEXICO: Veracruz, 2 km SE Calcahualco, 1,600 m, bosque mesófilo, 22-V-93, luz, L. Delgado col.” (1♂, IEXA). This is the first record with a precise location for this species.
