Distribution. Brazil ( Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pernambuco, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul), Peru ( San Martin), Bolivia ( Santa Cruz), Paraguay.

Species diagnosis. Scape entirely opaque and without distinct punctures; antennomere III with rounded outer apex; scutellum pubescent on margins; pronotum transversely rugose, with a few punctures interspersed; elytra opaque, about five times pronotal length, with apex bispinose; femora subfusiform ( Martins 2005a: 174, figs 276– 277; Santos-Silva & Wappes 2017: 9; Nascimento et al. 2017: 353, fig. 20).
