Parco Naturale delle Alpi Marittime: FRA numerous, FAG, PAL sparse to numerous, AND-I single record.

General distribution: Northern, southern Italy, Northwest Italy ( Subías & Arillo 2001); southern Palaearctic, Oriental, Neotropical, Australian; Mediterranean. Widely distributed species, probably introduced in Italy ( Bernini et al. 1995).

Habitat preferences: silvicolous; mesohygrophilous.

Remark: Body length 290–340 µm.
