Material examined. 4♂ ( SHOU: SHOU1 - SHOU4 ), China, Taiwan, Taipei, Kuandu , Wetland. 20.X.1988, leg. C.J.W. Maa ; 2♂ ( SHOU: SHOU5 , SHOU6 ), China, Guangdong, Fengkai, Heishiding Natural Conservation, IV.19.1988, light trap, leg. X.H. Wang.

Diagnosis. This species can be separated from other members of acerbus group by the following combination: superior volsella with a rounded apical extension, digitus well developed, median volsella reaching apex of superior volsella but not inferior volsella, gonostylus abruptly tapered and curved apically ( Wang & Zheng, 1993; Wang & Guo, 2004).
