Material examined. 1 female ( MGAB CUM 1794 ), St. John , U.S. Virgin Islands, Caribbean Sea 54 m, May 8, 2012, 18°02.2186”N 64°06.7596”W GoogleMaps , 54 m, collected by Nikolaos V. Schizas during the 2012 UPRM-DMS Mesophotic Cruise.

Diagnosis. Carapace with 1 dorsal denticle, uropodal peduncle 0.84 times pleonite 6 length, 4 medial setae, endopod with 4 medial setae.

Remarks. This species was originally described from Jamaica ( Petrescu et al., 1994). This is the first record of the species from U.S. Virgin Islands .

Distrbution. Jamaica, U.S. Virgin Islands , Caribbean Sea. Depth range: 1–54 m.
