Distribution. Europe: Belgium, Bulgaria, Czechia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Macedonia, Malta, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, former Yugoslavia; Russia ( Shamshev 2016). Asia: Turkey and Uzbekistan ( Grootaert 2008; Barták & Kubik 2018; Shamshev 2016).
Remarks. Platypalpus kirtlingensis is newly recorded here from Central Anatolia ( Sivas province) after its record by Grootaert (2008) and Barták & Kubik (2018) in the Aegean region ( Aydin and Muðla provinces), and in the Black Sea region ( Samsun province) and Mediterranean region ( Burdur province) by Barták & Kubik (2018). We add here another record for the species in the Black Sea region ( Çorum province).
