( Figs 43–51 View FIGURES 43−51 , 84 View FIGURE 84 )

Etymology. The species epithet refers to the state where the specimens were collected.

Diagnosis. Predominantly yellow. Cercus narrow proximally and wider distally, with a dorsal concavity distally; subepandrial sclerite bearing tapered anterior projection and digitiform posterior process with thin and long setae; phallus with hook-shaped tip to shaft.

Holotype ♂ ( Fig. 43 View FIGURES 43−51 ). Body length 1.8 mm; wing length 1.4 mm.

Description. Head ( Fig. 43 View FIGURES 43−51 ). Black; clypeus, palpus and proboscis pale yellow; anterior ocellus larger than posterior ones. Eye black, iridescent, contiguous centrally on face, with tiny, very inconspicuous setae. Frons brown, about 2.0X longer than wide, covered in dark yellow to light brown pubescence; occiput with pale yellow setae, yellowish-brown pubescence, pubescence sparse, dense only at eye margin. Antenna pale yellow, except paler postpedicel; stylus with light brown appearance when viewed laterally; scape short, about half-length of pedicel; pedicel about 2.0X longer than scape; postpedicel about 2.0X longer than maximum width; stylus longer than postpedicel; scape, pedicel and postpedicel with tiny, very inconspicuous setae. Clypeus with whitish pubescence; palpus with 2–3 distally arranged pale yellow setae; labellum with short, dense pale yellow setae. Proboscis with short setae located distally.

Thorax ( Fig. 43 View FIGURES 43−51 ). Pale yellow, except small brown details in following areas: i) dorsomedial region of prothorax and ii) anterior to notopleuron. Thorax about 2.0X longer than wide; mesonotum with sparse, short and weak setae, except notopleuron with one longer, stronger setae.

Legs ( Fig. 43 View FIGURES 43−51 ). Pale yellow to yellow. Forelegs with C1 about ¾ length of F1; T1 about ¾ shorter than F1; t1 about half-length of T1. Mid and hind legs with coxae, femora, tibiae and tarsi equal in length. F1 with Ff= 5–6/19/15/8–9+1, black denticles arranged in two parallel linear rows, located on distal ⅔, closer to each other distally, bordered by two rows of strong setae. T1 ventrally arched, ventral surface with two rows of black spiny setae (15–16); T1 with strong, spiny seta located on ventrodistal surface. All legs with short, sparse yellow to dark yellow setae on coxae and femora, dense on tibiae and tarsi, except slightly longer setae distally of C1; T1 with row of setae located on posterodorsal surface of distal ½.

Wing ( Fig. 44 View FIGURES 43−51 ). Membrane slightly yellowish, except slightly darker region on radial sector, veins yellow; R 2+3 long and straight, gently curved distally towards vein C, ~0.7 distance between tip of R 1 and R 4; bifurcation of R 4+5 acute (~70°); distance from bifurcation of R 4+5 to bifurcation of M 1+2 about ¾ length of R 4; R 5 approximately ¾ length of M 1 and nearly as long as M 2. R 5 and M 1 converging preapically but diverging distally; cell bm+dm short, terminating at level of R 1, about 2.0X longer than cell br. Halter whitish yellow.

Abdomen ( Fig. 43 View FIGURES 43−51 ). Long and slender. Tergites brown to dark brown, except tergite 7, light yellow; distinct setae only on posterior margin. Sternites yellow with scattered light setae, stronger on posterior margin.

Male terminalia ( Figs45–51 View FIGURES 43−51 ).Entirely brown.Cercus narrow proximally and wider distally, concave on posterior margin ( Fig. 46 View FIGURES 43−51 ); left and right cercus close together anterodorsally and distinctly setose ( Fig. 47 View FIGURES 43−51 ). Epandrium inflated, wide at proximal end and narrow distally, tapered distally ( Figs 46, 48 View FIGURES 43−51 ). Surstylus subquadrate, with medial setae becoming strong distally ( Figs 49, 50 View FIGURES 43−51 ). Hypandrium rectangular ( Fig. 49 View FIGURES 43−51 ) in ventral view, sclerotized with short, scattered setae. Gonocoxal apodeme short, narrow, projected beyond anterior margin of hypandrium ( Fig. 49 View FIGURES 43−51 ). Subepandrial sclerite with tapered anterior projection and digitiform posterior process with fine, long setae ( Fig. 50 View FIGURES 43−51 ). Phallus cylindrical, shaft distally hook-shaped, strongly sclerotized except for membranous area distally, covered with tiny dark spicules; phallus extended beyond hypandrium distally ( Figs 49, 51 View FIGURES 43−51 ). Ejaculatory apodeme with lamella reduced ( Figs 48, 49 View FIGURES 43−51 ).

Female. Unknown.
