Current status. Ceylalictus ( Ceylalictus) variegatus ( Olivier, 1789) (synonymised by Handlirsch 1888: 403).
Distribution. North Africa, southern and central Europe, Russia (south of the European part, North Caucasus), Caucasus, Turkey, Near East, Central Asia, Kazakhstan, Iran, Afghanistan, Mongolia, China ( Hebei, Beijing, Shangdong, Ningxia, Gansu, Xinjiang), NW India.
