Pilochaeta tringae ( Dubinin, 1951)
Hosts and distribution. This species was described ex Tringa stagnatilis (Bechstein) ( Charadriiformes : Scolopacidae ) from Russia (Barabinsk steppe) ( Dubinin 1951). Later on, it was recollected ex Tringa totanus from Russia (Volga delta) ( Dubinin 1956), ex T. stagnatilis from Africa (Gaud 1972), Russia (western Siberia), Thailand ( Samut Songkhram), ex T. flavipes (Gmelin) from Colombia (Dept. Magdalena, Ciénaga), Bahamas (San Salvador Island), Paraguay (Puerto Pinasco, Alto Paraguay), and ex Calidris himantopus (Bonaparte) from the USA ( North Dakota) ( Dabert 1997).
